Women under 35 years may be recommendedIUI (intrauterine insemination) with donor sperm, however women35 years and above may move directly to IVF treatment with donor sperm via IVF or ICSI. Women who are 40 years or above or with low ovarian reserve may want to consider donor eggs to increase their chance of having a baby. The first step at any age however is to see a reproductive specialist and get a fertility workup to determine the available options based on egg quantity and quality and other health considerations that affect fertility.
